• Unwavering Respect: Treat every person you meet with the same kindness you’d want for yourself. We have zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
• Active Consent: Every chat is a choice. If someone wants to end a conversation or doesn't want to answer a question, respect that choice immediately and without question.

• Keep it Legal: Always follow your local laws and the rules set by our third-party chat providers.

The "Good Vibes" Checklist

• Friendly cultural exchanges and practicing new languages.
• Casual, lighthearted small talk that brightens someone’s day.
• Being genuinely curious about someone’s hobbies or where they’re from.
• Ending a chat with a smile and a "Hey, take care!" even if it wasn't a perfect match.

What We Won’t Tolerate

• Threats, bullying, or any form of aggressive behavior.
• Scams, phishing, link-spamming, or trying to sell anything. (Seriously, don't do it).
• Asking for money, gift cards, or highly sensitive personal information.
• Sharing or encouraging illegal acts or content.

Empathy in Every Conversation

True connection requires empathy. Remember that on Chat42, you’ll meet people from all walks of life and every corner of the planet. What’s normal for you might be completely new to them. Be patient, ask open questions, and look for the things you have in common. A little understanding goes a long way toward making this a better place for everyone.

Tools to Keep You Safe

You’re always in control. If a conversation takes a turn you don’t like, use the report and block tools available in the dashboard. These reports help our providers identify and remove bad actors, making the community better for the next person.
